My walking was at Costco yesterday, didn't take the dogs out, paying for it this morning with a giant Tigger bounding around the house with her squeaky toys. I could have worse problems, and it's kinda funny to watch anyways.

Got a surprise package from work yesterday. Besides a surprise cash bonus, which never happens anymore (tax rules killed that), I think this is my favorite thing I've ever gotten - a whole set of good quality resistance bands. I love it. I have some, but I take them in the pool and that causes them to rot and rust a little more quickly. I talked to three of the five folks in my group and we are all stoked.

Going to be snapshotting last year's heart numbers in a bit so I know my starting point. Going to print them and stick them on the fridge. This should be fun as we'll be dealing with adaptation and how it affects switching things up. It's harder to get the heart rate up, which is a good thing but also frustrating. I probably won't post here, but will log the overall results. The one thing I do know going in, swimming has been amazing as far as making me better at other things which would have killed me in a previous life. So, while we can't avoid getting older, moving however you can as long as you can does make it better. I'll still be walking, hiking sometimes, it gets complicated splitting up the pack; they either languish at home or spend the entire time looking for the dog that's at home. No biggie, you think? they're German Shepherds; they look at a missing pack member as a personal failing and there is drama.

Thought about waiting a little before weighing this morning, decided it wasn't worth it, moving on with my day. Stuff to do and it ain't a Costco run because that is done!

I hit my 1000 move days earlier this week. That was cool. Took a couple of years and I lost my records at some point so it took longer, but hey, still did it.

It's a fantastic day here, enjoy it! Onwards! Weekend rules.

I use my bands at work during breaks. I fast during work hours, so it kills time productively. I get strange looks but they do help.

@2handedjam, I play with my weights on long calls if I don't have to be an active speaker. bands are probably a better fit. I may put them on my desk. great idea!
