It looks like I'll be coming in at least 3 full pounds under my end of April goal of 217. Today I weighted in at 213.5, so even if I wind up at 214, I'll be thrilled.
It looks like the commitment to the gym really paid off, plus running around after the new dog must have helped also.
By the way, if anyone wants to see the new dog in action, here is the speech I gave last week at my Toastmasters club with the dog as a prop/visual aid.

It's about 7 minutes long if you have the time. The dog is about as cute as can be. Well, I never doubted that you'd be ahead this month. You've done such a fantastic job and when you add the gym commitment to the food commitment, well, you get amazing results! Way to go!

Video worked! Even though I knew how it was going to end, I still had a big smile on my face as you described your husband's capitulation after three days of hearing you sob your heart out. Your dog is so handsome! Is he still called Mr. Wiggles? He didn't wiggle too much during the video, lol.
