Did some butterfly strokes before I did my set. Fairly sure I totally suck at it to the point that I'd laugh at myself. The good news is that it can only get better. Back stroke is fine, but I'll have to turn the current down. Same with breast stroke. I've kept that one going with whip kick and egg beaters. Need a lot less water in my face though. I'm going to have to be disciplined on current speeds when I get out of the pool if I want to expand my range.

Good swim, 78 degrees, love it when it gets like this. I wanted to focus on control for the entire thirty minutes with no stops and I did. Kinda cool when you compare to previous day's numbers. Strokes were almost exactly the same, but average heart rate was way lower and exertion was in warm up, which is a little crazy. 837 strokes, average heart rate 144, 19 minutes in "warm up". 10.4 METs. I had an abandoned set at the start due to a goggle change and it gave me a good baseline for going forward. 2.5 minutes, 50 strokes (watch and I agree on the exact number which is great), 83 average heart rate and 9.2 METs. Adding this to the notes on my phone so I can work with it. Might capture same stats with a sprint and some other stuff so I have it for future reference. Beats the heck out of a stop watch. Amazing we didn't drown.

Worked in the yard some, got stung by nettles, new grill is smaller than old grill (friend moved, gave it to me) so I need to decide what to do there. I suspect no huge change. Cannot wait for parties, you have no idea. Friends called me from Little Italy last night, I just can't yet. It was crowded and sounded super fun. Ugh. Vaccines open to everyone in a couple of weeks, we'll get there.

Walked dogs later, only 2.7 miles, but came across a legit elliptical on the curb and called a friend who was looking for one. Don't know if he picked it up or not. Things are funny when you walk around at night. Will find out later. I get it though, sometimes you just want stuff out of the house. I'll probably do the same thing with the extra grill since there's nothing wrong with either. Just moving things around in the universe. Another friend texted late about adopting a dog from Ukraine. That's pretty random, but cool. Hadn't heard from her in almost a year. Guess we're all getting ready to emerge from the mandated hermitude. I made that word up, but it's fitting.

Interesting movement on the numbers below. Probably some water retention since I ate two commercial things with sodium in them. Blob up a smidge, muscles holding high, would love them to stay at 92 pounds and scale be damned, but we'll see where it is tomorrow. Tried on a dress that didn't fit last year and it totally fits. Now, I just need them to fix this plague thing so I have somewhere to wear it.

Plan is to swim again (it's supposed to be almost 80, I think it's the law), walk dogs always, and maybe do some more yard work. Not sure what's up with BF, he may be working and I'm not going to hang around waiting for information. No waffle today, eggs only. Oh, I started weighing the waffle mix instead of using the measuring cup. Huge difference in the calories. Gotta keep weighing stuff like that. It all adds up. I also figured out that I've been consistently making 1/2 of a waffle but a full serving without realizing it, which is actually good. Also explains why they were so small when I was making what I considered a 1/2 waffle. It was actually 1/4. Calories were always counted correctly, just funny what happens when you don't compare the recipe and the serving size. It's like the 7 servings of that lobster ravioli. If I didn't weigh it, I'd call it 4. I also started weighing the various fish sticks, huge difference there.
