Not bad for a first try in the new oven. Used Kodiak mix. That part was okay, a little sweet. Toppings were good. Preheating was important. I don’t have a pizza stone for this oven so might buy a tile at Home Depot this weekend.

Tiny, definitely not deadly. Roma tomatoes, Smaller 8" plate. I didn't want to over commit on the first try.

you want some texture so moisture can escape and make crust crispy. natural stone like slate will have air pockets and could shatter. I'm thinking one of those tiles that look like wood planks would be good, but need to see it up close first.

sometimes I use cornmeal, today, I just used some of the kodiak mix because I was playing around. I've done a DYI pizza stone before, i just need a smaller one for this countertop size oven. super cheap, super easy and good results.
