Today is my surgery day gotta be at the hospital by 6:30am weight stated the same but to be expected especially when I had a piece of cake and 1 scoop of ice-cream for my granddaughters birthday party yesterday and then the ensure carbohydrate drink that I needed to drink. I gotta have the last one this morning before 6:30am cause can't even have clear liquid after that as my surgery is scheduled for 8:30am. I've been up since 10:45pm. I did try to sleep yesterday afternoon from 2:30to 4:30before my hubby woke me up and then from 7:30pm to 10:45pm so after surgery I'm sure I will be ready for a good nap especially when the anthesia will make me sleepy anyway... keep me in your prayers and thoughts this morning and during the days/weeks to come for recovery a speedy recovery...

since I'm normally hungry once I wake up I knew I couldn't eat after midnight but I logged my normal breakfast as today since I count it on today's food journal and it was very close to 12am when I ate. I normally eat at around 1am-3am just depending on what time I wake up. this should keep me from being hungry before my surgery is done and I'm able to eat afterwards. otherwise I would have been really hungry around 5am or maybe even before since my dinner was at 10:30-11am yesterday that still gave me a fasting of 11hrs before eating again I wanted to go longer but couldn't wait until after midnight to eat so here I am.

Update I'm home since 2pm yesterday and with the anthesia and dilaudid and oxycodone I wasn't in any pain at all I did exercise and walking around more than I normally do at least every 2 hours walking around and then by 4am I had done so much I started hurting a little bit pain levels 3-4but icing my knee and took hydrocodone 5mg and it's helping it physical therapy will be here today .
