Tiny bump up, I’ve got some odd muscle stuff going on in my back, but no idea what triggered it this time. That’s the delightful thing about backs, they will turn on you in an instant and become the center of your life until they feel like releasing you from their grip. Anyways, life goes on. Long walk last night, I’m going to continue going early as there’s been weird stuff going on after dark and it’s not just me noticing it. Blob down, water and muscle up. So anyways, will keep up with the walking early, even if i have to go back to work when we get home. I guess i could start earlier, but I still always forget to stop, so I dunno if that’s realistic. Some cool glimpses of bits around the hood yesterday. Along with spectacular winter skies, but being too early for actual sunset, there was a tree full of at least 17 parrots at street level, an old Jeep and words of wisdom from the treehouse collective. Funny thing about the skies, it was cloudy all day long and it cleared as night was falling. Cloudy again this morning and more rain coming for the week. Weekend rules, enjoy the day! I've never seen parrots except in a pet store! Didn't know they are out in the wild. Would love to see them even if noisy.

We have Monk Parakeets here in Houston, probably from pets released many years ago. Can't imagine how they've survived these very cold snaps we have occasionally.

Fritzy, San Diego and San Francisco both have flocks of wild parrots. These are red crowned Amazonian or red headed Mexican parrots depending on who you ask. They are surprisingly large when they land nearby. I give them lots of room, they can do serious damage. That said, they’re totally cool to watch.

Diana, are you stalking me??? It’s on the row of fancy houses in the historic district, they’re in magazines and stuff a lot, so it’s definitely possible you’ve seen it before.

Ok ok. The parrots!!!!!! Incredible!!!!! I’ve only seen them in a pet store cage and I love them. I’d want to take one home. 😂😂😂

I would so love to walk your streets! The route we walk in our neighborhood became repetitious & I haven't even walked it lately. I was thinking once the weather warms up, I should get back to walking on my rest days.

My nephew had a house in the historic district, maybe that's where I saw it...or could be in a magazine as well....SD has so many beautiful places to see!

Take a smart bird with a 3’ wingspan and multiply by roughly 20. They’re wild animals and they have breaks and talons. That’s pretty much all you need to know. Plus, one pooped in my eye once. That was terrifying all by itself.

Diana, that house is an American four square, it’s very possible you’ve seen it in other places, too. I’d love one like that if I didn’t have my little cottage with views to the edge of the world.
