Long walk last night, ran into my old neighbors from across the street which was really cool. Love the “new” ones, but these guys were my favorites. Of course we’re going out soon. That’s a given. 😁 Survived the week at work, ended up doing a full day yesterday, which is against my religion, but there was stuff to be done and it was quiet and I was jamming on my task list.

As far as food, I’m still stuck in the soup loop that I tend to lean on when it’s cold outside. I guess i should put some effort into it and make my own this weekend. No promises there, I may just stick with what I’ve been doing and enjoy my day off. The banana experiment this past week was meh. I bought them, I ate some, and I still hate them when they’re ripe. I should make pumpkin banana bread. Don’t worry, while I’m pretty good at cooking meals, I’m not in a place where I’m baking or cooking project size stuff.

Summer is finally getting brave enough to venture out into the backyard on her own. This is a big deal because she has been terrified of it because of her “sky monsters” that she’s always looking for. Thankfully, the big dogs have figured out what I mean when I tell them to “go get Summer” and they bring her right in. She’s my only dog with an AirTag on her. She’s tiny and quiet - the exact opposite of a German shepherd. She disappears and just watches you searching for her. Laughing at me in her head but not making a sound. Thankfully, she is now cookie motivated and that also helps with recall.

Blob holding down, muscle doing okay, need to drink more water, which I feel like I’ve been good about, but maybe not as much as I think. Guess I need to start counting since I’m drinking tea and not water from my water bottle.

Time to head out and do stuff now. Weekend rules, I need to try and enjoy the day before the rains arrive!

When I first started reading your post about Summer, I was thinking about the season, not the dog, and I was very confused. 😂 Glad she's making progress, she's lucky to be part of your family.
