Fragmented walk yesterday, started off well enough, but then people in cars were becoming a little too erratic so I headed home early. Got most of it in. Was a gorgeous, clear, sunny day, but a little chilly. This week is going to be a challenge, but I’m working on keeping focus.
We had visible snow in the hills. That only happens every few years, so it was pretty cool.

Ah. Big difference between SoCal and NorCal. I can drive 1.5 hours to the north and ski at Big Bear/Snow Summit which is about an hour east of Los Angeles. It’s not my favorite ski place, but it’s a quick getaway. A little further to the north is Mammoth, and they have tons of snow, sometimes you can ski as late as April. So yeah, we get snow, you just have to drive to it. Into the Sierra Nevadas and you get serious snow.

My sister said Julian got snow. We used to go there and pig out on apple pie! We have so much snow in our mountains! Yes, you can ski here in less than an hour away. Red Rock Canyon, which doesn’t usually get snow is covered!

Doing great Kat! I know I need to level the treadmill on my office floor so I can use it when the weather is bad or people are too much. Right now still using as a coat rack (so cliche'), you've inspired me to change that!
