I need to go back and edit the snaps I took of dinner last night. I had bought frozen “shrimp scampi” on sale and when I opened it, it was small shrimp, I think the 35/lb size, that were literally frozen in a mixture of butter, wine and garlic. Never again. Rescued the little guys by picking them out and placing them on fettuccine and left the greasy sauce in the pan. Gross. Was joking with BF that if I had eaten all that fat, it would have been calorie free because it would make me sick before i even digested it. Whole plain shrimp is a much better deal and much better for you. I have butter, I have wine, and I live for garlic. I can do much better all on my own.

Long walk last night, going to have to improvise today as we’re supposed to have heavy rain this afternoon through tomorrow, I guess. Even though i haven’t logged last night’s dinner yet, blob went way down as I was somewhat expecting after reverting to better habits. What do I mean there? All the holiday crap in the house is gone. Nothing more, nothing less. Being able to walk without hacking up a lung is a bonus although I still cough in the cold air. It is way better though and my O2 saturation is maintaining around 100% while previously was hovering around 95%.

I’ve gone back to taking a multivitamin and chondroitin/glucosamine to see if it helps with the knee. I know that when Sadie started slowing down initially, we added a supplement recommended by the trainer and she was able to continue jumping despite everything else that was going on, so I have first hand anecdotal evidence that it can help. I’ve never been good at a ton of pills so we’ll likely keep it at that and I’ll suffer through eating salmon and shrimp for my omegas. 😁

The flare on the skin on my face is mostly gone, hands are still a bit of a mess, but getting there. Wondering out loud if more salmon would help there. No harm and easy enough.

Anyways, haven’t been taking as many pics at night due to 3 dogs and distractions. Once Summer settles down, it should be easier. Not much to see this time of year anyways. We’ve been walking before any ground fog or other interesting stuff anyways. Haven’t been eating out much either since BF is always gone lately. We do talk a lot more, which is good. He doesn’t like me walking alone at night, so usually calls around when I’m out and about. I don’t mind.

Blob took a dive down, muscle holding, water decent and there was a lot of water yesterday, going to see what the weather does as far as walking tonight and adjust as necessary. Have some inside projects I can work on. Time to get moving and I’m actually going to run down to the car wash before the rain because I’m nuts.

You have the right idea...I learned that food from a box is often a disappointment. Much better to buy whole foods and combine the way we can benefit . That is oh so much better!
