Happy weekend everybody!

I hope everyone is seizing this day by the tail and not letting go until it screams into submission. This is our time to show our fortitude and keep moving forward in our journey. We are in this together lifting each other up when we stumble.

I'm still not sure what is going on with my weight. This makes the 4th day of loss in a row. This is not normal but the scale is going in the right direction. I guess I should be happy.

Last night after running my wife and I went out for pizza. That's my cheat meal for the week. I have to say allowing myself the indulgence of a cheat meal every week helps keep me on track.

Last night's run was a fartlek run. I did 3 miles with the sprints and had to do the last mile alternating between 1 lap walk and 1 lap run. I did a 2 lap walking cool down. I think I was running too fast for that type of workout which is why I couldn't complete the full 4 miles running. Today is a 5 mile slow run. Hopefully I can go a little earlier when it won't be so warm.
