Have gotten the gap between scales to .3 lb, so probably going to roll with the new one going forward. I’ll keep the other on hand for a few weeks so I can obsess in private, but it’s not that big of a difference, so I just need to get over it. The app functionality is better and that’s what i want.

I might put this in a separate post, but Apple finally put the Apple Health app on iPad and it is fabulous. All my data is in there going back to 2017. I’m still obese, but I’m healthier overall and it shows in steps, VO2, etc. Cool stuff that gets lost in your files at the doctor’s office because we don’t get the access or the time to digest.

Starting something new this morning. Weekend mornings, I’m going to mix up the exercise before breakfast so that it doesn’t get lost in the day. I’ll always walk, but putting something out there for myself first. Really wish I’d taken more pics earlier. Not a huge deal, but would have been nice for me today. I honestly think I look better now than five years ago when I started swimming again in March 2018. Ironically, my weight was 160.1 lbs at that point, but I was wearing bigger clothes and I promise my cardio was a lot less. That first couple of months in the pool kicked my butt, guess that means if i’m cruising these days it’s time to turn up the current. I did go back and look at my old rings where the active calorie goal was 480/500, now, it’s 630 and I hit that most days. Might up it to 650. Little changes add up.

From 2018, I’m a fail on daily swims, but I do walk the dogs almost 4 miles daily up from almost 2, and I do get in the pool regularly when I don’t walk. Life only gives you so many hours to get stuff done. Rowing in five minutes. Trying to keep this nasty frog voice from going to my chest.

I don’t know about these numbers. New baselines, I guess. It’s all about trends. Will be interesting to compare to doc’s office at some point.
