Made it through the Thanksgiving weekend on the low side of things so far. Good enough. No walk last night, but did a ton of outside Christmas decorations and got in my steps going up and down the ladder. Today, we are going on a treasure hunt - i need to find those extension cords and timers that I swear I put in a specific place but that wasn’t it. 🤣

It’s been really good having four solid days off. Needed the break, feeling more myself. Life is good. Need more days off and intend to do so in the next couple of weeks.

Listening to a podcast/video on the benefits of massage. I really miss massages. Haven’t done one since the beginning of the plague. One more want, after a gardener, a cleaner and a driver. 😂 I’m already my own pool girl, so that one’s covered.

Tomorrow should be interesting because the blob came roaring back with a couple extra pounds this morning even though weight is down. This week is important because it is literally the week that I started with the smart scale almost 4 years ago. Today’s stats are below, the original ones from back in 2019 are below it.

Mental meanderings. Seems to be some data leakage with my scale as well. I was going to buy a new one with my Black Friday discount, but they sold out before i even woke up, so here we are. Might still do it if they restock. We’ll see. Keeping the brand I currently have because I want the app to compile everything. I should have picked a better day to compare, but hey, I still weigh less than in 2019 and have done it without making it a mental torture session. There were some big hills and valleys during those 4 years, can’t ignore that. If i go back to 2011, specifically 22 Dec 2011, it was 169.0 lb. Pretty happy with the current focus on protein and restricting my overall carbs to around 100g. Looking to maintain slow and steady progress vs. a gradual decline over time and pretty much on my own this time since trainers, etc., were inaccessible during the plague. Or maybe the dogs were the trainer? Who knows? We walk a lot or the house is destroyed.
