Cramming contact hours this weekend for my nursing license renewal. I officially retired this month, and keeping my license active for seasonal remote work. Attending my granddaughter's school play this evening. Breakfast every day is eggs and sausage, proteins planned for the next three days are beef liver, pork chops, pulled pork.

You're doing a great job planning, I have to work on that. Renewing your nursing license is awesome. I think if I made one mistake occupation wise it was not getting licensed after I got my Master's. I think I regret that..but then they say everything is divine timing. There was a period of time when I could have been "grandfathered", but I didn't know so I missed that 🙂 Have a Blessed Day.

I just renewed mine as well and I have been retired 12 years. I worked so damn hard to get that license and I don’t intend to ever say I WAS a nurse. Plus, I love to read, study and go to classes.

Thank you. I miss being part of a team and don't miss the piles of paperwork. Planning my proteins keeps me on track. I never have to stand in front of an empty fridge thinking, "what am I going to eat?"
