This past week has not garnered the desired results. While the blob has stayed down overall, it’s still maintaining rather than receding further. Additionally, cold makes me hungrier and I’ve found myself grazing more than I’d like at night. So, going to reallocate the protein/calories for later in the day rather than keeping them focused at lunch. I also don’t want my life to be one giant chicken boob. So, will keep breakfast as is, cut the lunch protein to 50g and push 50g protein to dinner and plan to add more veggies there for bulk. Probably need to consciously incorporate the Greek yogurt over cottage cheese as well.

That aside, it’s not bad, i just can do better and it’s good to step back and self-analyze. I’ve done a good job getting more exercise by doing something every single day. I’m about to hit 1500 move rings on my watch, hopefully before the end of the year. That’s a pretty solid accomplishment at 630 active calories per day over a number of years. To anyone questioning the accuracy of the calorie burn on fitness devices, yes, i know, i get it. But i use it as a baseline against being sedentary rather than relying on it as an active measurement. I started at something like 380 calories and have incrementally worked my way up to 630, so it is doing what it needs to do in that regard.

Shorter walk last night. Chance and i went out with the intent of doing the full course, but it started raining on us about a mile from the house and the clouds to the west were ominous looking enough i was concerned about getting caught outside in the open in another intense thunderstorm. That’s happened twice recently and i don’t care for a repeat. 2.9 miles, pool was not an option, did some cleaning and whatnot, so a good day overall. We had to walk into those dark clouds in the last one. It’s funny how much the camera software adjusts the amount of light. I don’t have time to play around with settings when I’m walking dogs, but it was much darker than these appear. Guess they figure most people underestimate the amount of light they want in their pictures.

We've been getting some rain here too. Not much it's a surprise to wake up and see the deck is wet. Hope we have a nice rainy season, but less than last year. I think you get more stormy weather
