🤷‍♀️ I was genuinely hungry all day yesterday. Overate by 500 calories. Ate all day, 4x's. Spent less time at the gym yesterday. No poop. Better sleep?? BMR improving?? Last night's video watch...

Your video makes an excellent point to those who are getting closer to their goal weight. You can transform your body into a more esthetically pleasing shape without losing weight. It is a difficult balancing act of building muscle while cutting fat simultaneously. Hard to do.

Z's body said, "I'm hungry." Z replied, "Okay, let's eat." A short time later, Z's body insisted, "I'm hungry again!" Z, surprised, sighed and said, "Okay, I will feed you. What's going on with you? I haven't seen you this hungry in ages!" Z's body smiled and didn't answer. This went on throughout the day. That night, while Z was sleeping, Z's body felt hungry again and said to herself, "Z fed me when I was hungry. The next time I want food, she will feed me again. Therefore, I will use body fat instead of waking her." And that's what she did. In the morning, Z was very surprised to see she lost weight! "I ate more often than usual and also ate more food than usual! How did this happen?!" Her body smiled and said nothing ❤

@Penderg One of the main reasons that I started strength training (among several other reasons) was to increase my BMR. I could not seem to lose unless fasting or eating VERY low calories. I still have lots of fat to lose, but I decided trying to increase my BMR by gaining some muscle then cutting back calories again was a better option to do that (lean bulk). The psychological part of that is very hard though, as I don't want to gain anymore body fat. That's when I started researching body recomposition. It is psychologically hard as well though, because there is no 100% sure way for me to tell what exactly is going on in my body. I know a good sign that building muscle is happening is to have strength gains. ✔️ there. As I was still "starving" last night rigt, I started to research as to possibly why I've been hungrier lately, because I was having a hard time hitting 1200 calories (full & uninterested in food & not really losing) just a few weeks ago. That's when this video popped up. Apparently, another sign of muscle growth is increased hunger. I know it wasn't just cravings, because 1) that doesn't happen often in ketosis 2) I was ready to eat ANYTHING! 😂

@Lady 🤣😂😅!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU!!! Yes, please talk to me like I am in kindergarten because this is all new to me, even though this is not my 1st rodeo. My first rodeo just included keeping cutting calories, until it was unsustainable with whatever other reasons included.

Thanks, guys! 🙂 @Erika... I'm definitely trying. When getting in the car to leave the gym after last leg day, I had to use my hands to put my second leg in the car. 🤣

Zenus, so it looks like 2 to 3 days a week I probably have about 45 minutes that I can spare to a gym because of time conflicts of my ride home. There's a gym across the street from my current workplace of 12 years. I'm going to look into getting a membership there in the coming week. But honestly I've never gone to a gym and have very little knowledge of how to use any of the big cool machines as such no idea which machines to use if I want to actually improve ab and core muscle mass. Which machines should I use do you think (names of machines if you know)? If I knew their names I could look up videos so I knew what to do when I got there and wouldn't look so silly. I would like to avoid "helpful gentlemen" from trying to assist me so that I can just focus on actually exercising and learning appropriate form; as I know it's going to take me a little bit to actually figure things out. My husband can be a little silly sometimes and get jealous because of this I don't want him thinking I'm going there to meet people instead of actually strengthen my core while I wait for him to get the children off the bus and come get me. >< It is my hope to better use this opportunity to actually use strength building machines instead of just at home exercises I think I will get better gains this way. Thanks for your help 🐱.

Yes, just core and abs at this time. I have very well defined legs and arms. My legs have been very well developed from multiple years of biking to and from work approximately 5 mi every day up until about 6 months ago when the MS blinded me and I've been nervous about biking with only the one eye and I've not yet gotten over that just yet. As for my arms I put up the store's truck twice a week and I also lift weights at home and so my arms are quite developed as well and I don't really feel the need that they need to be more toned at this time. But although my tummy looks smooth it does not have muscle definition and during the pregnancies a lot of the muscles in my stomach were distended if that makes sense. The doctor said that this would be difficult to heal without a lot of attention to this area and used to specific name for the degradation of the muscles there but I do not remember it at this time. He did say it was possible with lots of work to fix this and I would like to do so. I'm willing to put the work in.

So, google that into the search engine. I know that my daughter, who gave birth to twins last December, is going to a PT who's given her very specific exercises to knit up her abdominals.
