Went out of town on a road trip to my sister's graduation from Dental Assistant School and had a hard time sticking to any kind of decent plan. Lots of drive-thrus and mystery calories. How do you calculate an Egg McMuffin with only one half of the English Muffin removed? Wild guessing, that's how.

I did really well on Saturday, including a trip to the Hibachi BBQ where I was proud that I filled up on salty soup with no calories and salad. Skipped the rice. Man, that was hard. The Hibachi fried rice used to be my go to comfort food when dining out.

I'm sloshing around mostly water which will drop this week and I get back to normal. It's going to be a tough week to get to the gym, but I'm going to do it somehow, at least twice.

Congratulations to your Sister! Bet she appreciates that you made that trip to be with her. I know it is so hard to stay on track when we travel. We can only do the best we can. At least you have a comfortable routine to fall back into now that you are home.
