After coffee weight, was going to skip and then figured why not? Was bright and sunny when I woke up, but the wind has picked up and the clouds are coming in for the next round of storms. I don't mind, it's nice to have changes in weather from time to time.

walked last night, 2.7 miles, took a side trip to see some last lights before they take them down. Came home, I was fine wrapped in fleece, but the dogs were cold. turned on the heat for the first time and accidentally left it on all night. it was a nice sleep, I'll give it that.

got some heavy duty tasks to get done today and I want to drop off some last minute donations.

Hogan and I are sitting here watching german shepherd puppy videos this morning. Not because I'm getting a puppy, but because he is very concerned about the babies and it keeps him busy trying to figure out where they are in the room with surround sound speakers. In the meantime, I get some good laughs. he's such a gentle giant. neither of the girls care after a minute or so. go figure.

we'll get serious about things after tomorrow night. I have crab cakes in the freezer and while it won't be a party, it'll still be me and my one true love which is the way it should be.

if I can figure out how to stream it without too many interruptions, I'm going to binge cooking shows today while I work: gordon ramsey and sam the cooking guy. one for technique and one for ideas. both are good teachers and I'm always up to learn something. I love that sam mostly cooks outside in an outdoor kitchen. if I have to rebuild my deck, I want to incorporate something to that effect and maximize the outside space even more. one day, gotta have goals. great, he's starting with bread. we'll skip ahead on that one. all I need is a loaf of fresh bread cooking on a day I'm inside by myself. ooh, I could make chickpea pasta though.

wind is too strong to swim at the moment, we'll see what happens later in the day. I can do 10mph or less, more than that is scary with things falling on me.

just some cool things I saw on our walk. and realizing just how much time I spend looking at dog butts.

surround sound that's hilarious. at first the dogs looked like a team of horses on my phone. so get some roller blades. bet you can double your normal distances in half the time. oh squirrel. 😁😁

When the resident campers at the park get belligerent with is during class, I run my three dogs in circles like a gladiator behind a chariot. It’s extremely effective for clearing a space.
