Met my end of March goal and I'm happy. I have to find a way to get more motivated to get to the gym. It's going to get harder as summer comes and the weather heats up and it gets to 110+ here in the desert. I think I will try to listen to music during my workout and see if that helps.

Okay, so I'm going to try music, and remember that this isn't the old me, this is the new me, who tells people, "Just tell me what you want done, and don't ask me how I did it." So the goal is: "Get to the gym 3X/week, and don't tell me how you did it." Now that I have that programmed in, it WILL happen. Thank you, Pu, for planting the seed!

BIG congrats for hitting your goal. I'm gonna sound like some kind of stalker here... but I think it's even more impressive given that you were plagued by that nasty bug in March. Probably played havoc with your metabolism and you still ended up where you wanted. Job well done!

Awesome especially since you were sick. I like having music, just put Pandora on my iPod easy to skip to the next song if something that doesn't fit comes on. Will be a challenge here also. Not in the desert rare that it hits 110 but 90's & 100's with high humidity.

Vicki, how would you be a stalker? All I did was whine to anyone who would listen for two solid weeks that I was sick and miserable and ill. You'd have had to have been living on Mars with your head under a rock to NOT know that I was plagued for half of March! LOL. The only thing that bums me out only mildly is that I lost two of the three pounds I was ahead of my goal from being sick and going over my RDI for those two weeks. I was eating weird, bad food in an effort to get better and I stayed steady for two weeks straight. But in an effort not to seem ungrateful in my Journal, I kept quiet about it. Until now. Haha! I'm still happy, but now I have no latitude and it's time to get my butt in gear for April. No excuses April - stay on track and get to the gym. Let's go!!! And thanks for keeping track. It makes me very happy!
