Longer walk last night, recorded at 3.73 miles, we did some circles and backtracking and chasing, so I guess I'll trust it. The sunset was mesmerizing, blood red at points from the smoke from the fires, spent a bit of time stopping and taking pics at different points. We took a different route because there were people and dogs everywhere. Stopped and helped grab a loose puppy, too. One of the thing I truly love about the people here. People stopped their cars and we worked to get the dog off the busy street and keep it from running into the canyon.

No swim last night, but I did take ten minutes to stop and sit in my swing between tasks. That was a nice little break. Finished up the steak, skipped the salad at night, wasn't feeling the need for volume and it was late at that point. I have discovered the final skunk stink point. It's his collar. I guess I need to order a new one, although I may try tossing it in the washer later. It makes me really nervous to have the dogs without their collars on unless they are literally locked up in the house with no way out. I've helped in too many rescue cases where the dog bolted without a collar and people didn't know what to do. They're all chipped, but you have to catch them first.

Blob down, muscle up slightly this morning. Ounces, not pounds. Grams actually seem more fitting. Must have been the hills last night. ;)

Puppy class tonight, it's going to be hot, so will try and sneak in a few short treadmill sessions before the house heats up. Not going to promise anything. Wait, that's stupid, it's a promise to myself, right? So I will be getting my butt up on that treadmill (or something) at some point and getting it done. There. 90.5 miles out of the 106.4 goal, so I'm going to do it. Stupid stubborn for the win. Yay!

More painted rocks have appeared this week, they will be making an appearance later. For now, the blood red sun. Camera doesn't do it justice.
