Two words: Pizza! Pizza! Delicious though. Two slices left in the fridge, too.

Ordering groceries next even though I kinda just realized I could buy them myself at this point. Not into it. Hoping they have the salmon I like this time. Things are still hit or miss sometimes. Why you don't see rainbow cauliflower anymore. And I was such a fan of that stuff.

Swam yesterday, mostly okay after some technical difficulties were resolved, but the pause definitely affects overall heart rate and effort numbers. Full on goggle swap. Sunny this morning so will definitely get another one in today. 802 strokes, 9.3 METs, and if I eliminate the five minutes of rest, average heart rate is 151, so that's a solid cardio beating, pun intended. Maybe I'll toss in a set of sprints at the end today. That's always super humbling.

Processing some news from a friend who posted her house on a whim last weekend without telling anyone and got a full cash offer. She has 30 days to find somewhere to live and she's not sure it's going to be here. Better her than me, I suppose. I don't think she's moved in decades, so that may require anxiety counseling. Ugh. Staying put. One of the few benefits of the last year and a half, we haven't really hung out, just texted, so it won't be a huge adjustment, I guess. I do hope she sticks around the general area.

My yard work pants are falling down this morning despite lat night's pizza, need to go find a belt or rope or something. Annoying but good. Need to go another round with the jasmine and rehang the bird feeders since I've been told it's okay again. Mostly miss the hummingbirds. They're around, but not hassling me as much since the flowers are in full bloom.

Friday's sunset. More rocks. I'm going to start snapping some of the random pottery bits because they make me laugh.

What did you say about these rocks? You are painting them or you find them on walks? So fun. My neighborhood is pretty boring to walk through but I did my c25k two days ago and had 2 deer staring at me. Thankfully they chose to go the other way. I remember one of my employees saying he was chased by a deer. It always freaks me out. LOL

Ha! To be half as talented as this person. These are in a neighbor’s yard and in other places around the neighborhood. If i didn’t walk, I’d never have seen them.

The rainbow cauliflower is from places like Equador so due to Covid-19, may not have had the usual planting cycle OR due to the stuck ship in the canal may have experienced delayed delivery and/or spoilage. I'm just throwing some thoughts as to why many of the produce items that were easily accessible before are so hard to get now.
