The biggest news of the day is that I'm able to wear pants again!!! Stretchy ones, but hey, it's progress. No real exercise yesterday, listened to a friend telling me to try taking a solid day off and resting, so I did. In bed and asleep by 10:30. That happens never around here. Bad grammar intentional. One day I'll take measurements during and episode and we can see just how big I get. I feel like the blueberry kid in charlie and the chocolate factory.

Today's plan, walk dogs because they need it. They were robbed of their walk yesterday and I try not to let that happen. We'll see if I feel like swimming. Not going to worry about it if I don't. I am getting signals from relatives that people are ready to travel again and they all want to come to San Diego. Ha! There's some irony there since most of them were born here and left for other parts of the world and I'm the exact opposite. I have a year's worth of clearing stuff out to do though and quickly. I have a pile of goodwill bound stuff that I couldn't get to them and I will take care of that. Might take another look at the closets since I'm hearing we're not going to reopen the big campus anytime soon here in San Diego, so I should be fine with a suit or two vs. a wardrobe. I did order a pair of new flip flops. Pretty ones. Because I'm fancy like that these days. I'm actually excited about them because they're replacing a favorite pair that are literally falling apart as I wear them every day and they're almost the same. Kinda like me these days. Still, we trudge forward!

This is one of my favorite houses in the neighborhood. It's pretty unique, even for here. It's off my regular walking route, but when I was cutting things short the other day, we passed by. It's looking a bit rougher than it used to, but aren't we all? I still love it, and it really lights up at night because the upper floors have tons of windows. Hoping it will be on the tour of homes one day because I'd love to see inside without being creepy.

Think I'm gonna make myself a waffle now. These days of eating like a five year old are drawing to a close (thank goodness) and I haven't had one in more than a week.
