I almost dressed up and went to Target last night to buy wine just so I could interact with people and maybe say I went out for drinks. Walked dogs instead. Made it home before the rain, which was substantial for here. Looks like it's supposed to rain off and on all day so I need to make some alternate plans for movement. Put on some yoga pants and I'm going to do an online class or two this morning. If the storm clouds look a little less foreboding than they do right now, will jump in the pool. The good news is that there's plenty to do in the house where oddly enough, I don't spend that much time during daylight. It's also raining which means I can watch TV should I choose. I got bored last night and put some elastic in at the bottom of a top that got ginormous on me and it's cute. I love doing quick and easy stuff that can transform a piece. I still need to fix the jeans that I ripped in the basement. I guess I can do that today, too. Shouldn't take long. It'll either work or I'll have another pair of jean shorts for the summer. Or not.

I have a pair of mourning doves in the yard this morning, no doubt hiding from the wind and rain. Such pretty birds. Can't get a picture because I'm sitting inside and if I get up they'll leave. I think I'm going to make more chickpea pasta today. Just saw a recipe for a different kind of chickpea pasta, but I enjoyed the last batch, so will try it again. I have zucchini around so maybe we'll get all fancy. Thought I was going to have to work all weekend again, but they let us off the hook since we worked last weekend. Happy about that.

Was super hungry again last night so I think I'm going back to my cocoa before bed again. It's 90 calories and seems to hold me. Not sure why the change lately, it's not like I cut my calories back a ton or anything, just the mix. Has to be the relative cold after a super hot week. I'll figure it out. Still on the downward trend, but wishing that muscle mass had held at 92. Makes a good goal though. Still up from where I started with this scale on the muscle and notching away at the overall weight. I need to order a good exercise mat at some point, knees don't do well on the floor.

This pic is South Park in a nutshell. Beautiful sky, beautiful trees and airplanes right overhead. Which I love, but I'm weird that way. Ever since I was a little kid. I still like to lay in the grass at our little park and watch them fly right overhead. And you thought I only took pics of dogs and Christmas lights. Oh yeah, a bunch of people have left their lights up. I love it. My own tinsel tree will be up until whenever Amazon delivers the new storage bag. The last one disintegrated and the order keeps getting delayed, but I don't really care. It's a good excuse. My outside lights are down except in the back. Those are cafe lights, not Christmas lights and make the yard an extension of the house.

I love this picture, Katsolo. Imagining where it is headed and the adventures the people on board are going to experience is such fun. After all that... It was probably a cargo plane. 😁 I hope you have a good weekend!

Erq, my current goal is to be able to get up from the ground without making noises due to the whole back thing. I'm improving, but I still can't rush it. Sometimes you have to just suck it up and hit the pause button to catch up. It kills me, but I don't ever want to repeat that pain because of my own stupidity. My baby deadlifts are at 20#. Not even half of my small dog. Working on it. LOL, Melissa, not a cargo plane. Delta airlines. But they were landing, so their adventure is here in San Diego. I can't wait until the planes from Tokyo and Heathrow return. It still blows me away that they can fly so far without stopping. I do miss the 747s from British Airways. Sadly, they have been retired for good.
