I had a fantastic swim last night. Shattered my previous numbers, albeit without paddles, for the last 700. Went from 840 strokes to 962 in the same 30 minutes, heart rate in mid-140's, so I was working, but 10 minutes were in "warm up" stage and the rest were in cardio. Most importantly, I felt really, really strong the entire time like I was skimming the top of the water. It was a good feeling, like a race winning swim. Yeah, I'm a dork. Too late to change. Tonight will be an easy swim. Tomorrow, we'll think about adjusting the current. So the hour endurance swim took me up a notch after it almost wiped me out.

After that, we move on to the numbers. A little scary at first glance, but the breakout says I'm okay as my earlier muscle number went up. I added another pound of muscle and the blob held steady. I took out the tape measure and my waist is the same, so not going to stress. We'll just keep focused on the overall goals and keep moving. It also needs to hold for a couple of days before I believe it.

Might talk to nutritionist about adjusting overall numbers. I have a feeling this is going to be as elusive as "spot reduction" doesn't exist. Just need to make sure I keep moving, keep pushing. May be searching for an app to chart performance progress.

Fingers crossed these grapes make it to ripe without being stolen by birds or squirrels or possums. I won't cry if they are, but they're such a pretty bunch, I hope they make it.
