So, today we get back in the swing of things. Start the New Year right, back to healthy low-cal eating & exercise. This time last year I weighed around 154.5, today I'm around 146, which is 8.5 lbs down. I've done a pretty good job of maintaining the 10 lb weight loss from Oct 2019, but yeah last night I did the party hardy thing so I'm up about a lb. That's okay. So, recommitting today to the next 10 lbs, with a goal of 135 lbs by my 60th birthday in March. And now comes those pesky New Year's resolutions. Besides the obligatory "lose 10 lbs by my birthday," I resolve to continue my studies in Exercise Science. I made a B- in Exercise Physiology class last semester, and a C+ in the lab. Normally I don't settle for anything less than an 'A', but these classes were HARD! Never been so happy about making a 'C' in my life! Anyway, I need to do at least as well, hopefully better, in the Biomechanics class this semester. And finally, I resolve to quit using disposable plastic straws. Yep, help save the planet, one straw at a time. I have about a half-dozen washable reusable straws & plan to keep one (or two) with me at all times. Anyway, there they are, & I hope that everyone out there makes 2020 their best year ever!
