Over 3hr deep sleep last night. Reflect on why sleep is so much better these days. It might be because I've added more Potassium Chloride into my mixed meat patties over the last few weeks.

I try to remember magnesium as well. I have some potassium that I add to food as well.. when I remember. Glad you got your sleep in

John10251 Thank you. One meal a day makes it more fun to check weight in the morning. Found it hard to get into this routine, but a doctor reminded me about the fact that an insulin spike is required to get fat on eating fat. This made me eat fat freely for a few days... boom, the routine got established quite easily.

Pixie68 Tried magnesium, and somehow it didn't work for me. Got cramps. Experimenting with what works for us on an individual basis is probably the key. Not easy, but good fun when the balance is found.

liv001 I sit with the impression that Magnesium is important when eating plant foods. This due to the anti-nutrient quality of several plants, that prevents absorption and rob the body of Magnesium. This impression I got is based on that a magnesium supplement gave a negative effect on my plant free diet. Assume overload of Magnesium was what I hit on when I tried that.

What negative effect did you experience?

Interesting that you got cramps taking Mg. I thought Mg helped with cramps. I'm using both Real Salt (mined in Utah, I think) and NoSalt for both Na and K on my food, and liberally. Seems to work pretty well. Recently I've started waking around 3AM or so, and then back to sleep where I sleep deep. And, FWIW, I don't usually remember my dreams but of late they've been pretty vivid.

Looking forward to it. Thanks!

I take magnesium daily as a migraine preventer. It works. I would love to figure out how to get my fitbit sleep to look good. No idea how.

How much water/liquids did you drink over the last two days? About the same amount each day?
25 Okt 19 vom Mitglied: srossca
srossca Drink water when thirsty, and do not know precisely. Judging from the glass bottles I use, I'd guess around 3 quarts a day. When I tried with a late meal, I was not thirsty before sleep, and got a big weight drop in the morning. Usually have near a quart of water as my 'supper'

wholefoodnut Maybe some bone meal can help. Calcium helped calm my body. I take Iodine to calm my mind. Potassium via Lite salt also seem to have done magic for my sleep data.

HardDaysKnight Interesting. It seems like good sleep may be found via a good mineral balance.

liv001 magnesium supplements reliability gave me crampy feet and restless legs. Weird, but they are not suited for my woe.

HardDaysKnight Iodine may calm down dreams. Did for me anyway.
