Fluctuations, but blob is back down again which is the whole point of the things we do. Well, that, and my relative sanity is a bonus for those around me. 😜
Yesterday was an interesting day on a number of levels. Went for a walk in the morning, found a dog, gave a random guy one of my leashes to help out, ended up in a animated discussion with the owner of the dog who showed up eventually. Her dog had jumped out the car window when she was parked and although it had a collar, a harness and a coat, there was no phone number anywhere, nor a license. I don’t really care if you license your dog, but it makes it really hard to find an owner where there is no freaking number to call. Whatever, idiot.
It rained on the way home because we had gone out trying to beat the rain initially, but the delay looking for the other dog’s owner got us caught in the first few drops of what ended up being a real spring shower. Went out again in the evening to finish our mileage, raced the the next band of storms by cutting it a little short. Lesson learned.
More of the same expected today, was going to take them out this morning, but the winds have picked up and the sky is dark. Not gonna.
I did get to come home and take a nice hot daytime shower which is one of my favorite things in life. Yeah, now you know something weird about me. So much of my life is frantic, there are some things I really just savor and that’s one of them. Don’t be creepy about it or I’ll never share again.
Sitting in the back room and the temp has just taken adive, guess the next storm is about to let out its wrath. Bring it, we’re ready. I haven’t even put on socks yet and I don’t need to go outside for anything. Ha.
I do this home fragrance thing, and I was picking out the next scent of the month, and i left all the potential candidates in my shopping cart. There was a definite theme and I don’t think I’ll follow through with anything other than including a note of vanilla. Here are my selections, feel free to judge, I find it hilarious in retrospect. Warm vanilla sugar bath, sugar cookie, cinnamon roll, salted caramel, and maple glazed bacon. 🥓
Almost full moon for our evening walk. The one thing I’m excited to use AI for is removing all the cars from my pics without hours editing which I will just never do.
Weekend rules, I guess. Was going to have coffee out this morning but it’s freezing now. Thinking about making a waffle. May sit down and do the tax dance since I’m trapped inside.
