Both the rocket (Falcon 4) and the booster in the one pic over the ocean as it separated. Totally worth sitting out in the cold. Gorgeous night, too. Lots of stars. Camera adds all the light, which is hard to control when shooting long distance moving action over city lights. I love stuff like this. The other cool thing is that the sky was dark enough that my camera caught the Little Dipper even though my eyes couldn’t see it due to light pollution.

I love the night sky! Can often catch me standing in the driveway watching the Space Station pass overhead. I stare in awe and wonder!

Such cool pictures! My husband loves astronomy and anything to do with space travel.
We are coming down this week. Supposed to go Thursday but weather is supposed to be bad so may bump it up and leave tomorrow. I’m excited to go get my 3 month check up and device adjustment.

Diana, I’d definitely try and do tomorrow if you can. It’s the combo of high winds and heavy rains that make it dangerous. Safe travels no matter what.
