Woke at 234.3, up 4.1 from yesterday. Easter celebration with lots of food, candy, and cake. Adjusting this week. PS. I did a glucose check just before bed after eating chocolate cake and some jelly beans. It was 140. So, the sugar definitely spiked it. I'm planning to fast today except for supplements. UPDATE: Just black coffee and green tea today. Weighed 233.1 at 4:30 pm. Feeling pretty bitchy, so I'm definitely feeling the fasting! I did a blood glucose and ketone check and got 81 glucose and .3 ketones. Not in ketosis, but definitely got the glucose down. UPDATE 2: Definitely low energy by dinner time but stuck with the fast. I took an hour nap, got up, and had two cups of decaf while doing some day-job work. I will eat a little earlier than usual tomorrow and have a full day of meals, but then I will eat lighter from Wednesday to Friday to get back on my calorie goal.
