Briefly considered skipping breakfast in lieu of unlimited coffees this morning since I finally got through the end of a bag that I didn't like and switched back to my favorite dark French roast. Alas, that is not a practical option as I'm no longer conditioned to inhale seven double shot lattes on an empty stomach, so it must remain as a fantasy only. I may indulge in a plain old espresso mid-morning, but must have something in stomach to prevent levitation from caffeine shakes.

Super good, super hard swim yesterday. Turned up the current a notch and it kicked my ass. Got that heart rate back up and I'm fairly sure that I hit a new PR for strokes. Have to look back for that one (edit: was 870 on 01/31/21). Think I had a new PR at 890 strokes, but average heart rate was at 153, which is fine, I was working, for 10.7 METs. Whether I can hold this new level of effort - we'll need to see. No reason I can't but I don't want to get sloppy and get injured as this past year has been full of that already.

Gorgeous weather, going to try walking with BF today. First time since early January. Crazy. We're taking it very easy. I'll swim later because I'm an idiot and I love it. Remind me of that when I forget.
