One of those days where all things are just overwhelming. Another life change on the horizon and no matter what I do to prepare myself, things are going to be challenging because there's another person involved. You do what you can to make do.

Breathe in, breathe out, appreciate the beauty in every day. I have to remember that I have to take care of myself first to take care of the other person. That means we don't fall for the emotional traps, we try not to get caught up in the manufactured drama. We must remember to maintain a healthy distance from the turmoil to be able to maintain perspective. Why am I referring to myself as "we" already? It hasn't even happened yet. Ugh.

Sorry for the nonsensical mantras, but I need them right now. Just be glad there aren't literal stickies all over the interwebs.
