I have been fighting a down mood this week and took three days off from exercise because my derriere has been really sore. Ultimately that is a good thing - i have been doing all manner of squatting, dipping, lunging and stepping up, but i have just been dragging and kind of having a pity party at which i am the guest of honor. I guess this is where habit or discipline will need to kick in, because i am extremely unmotivated atm. I need a sports montage!

Today a friend is coming to lunch. She is strict with her diet. I think it is paleo-ish. I am going to make a big green salad and either a spinach and mushroom omelet or maybe curried chicken wraps.

Thank you! I appreciate the reminder that rest is ok MillaLite! And the wisdom about gratitude Adef! You are right. I definitely have a lot to be thankful for.

maybe its something in the 'air'? I've been in a downer this week also. BUT this morning I looked in the mirror and gave myself a good pick-me-up talk instead of the 'oh yuck' half awake normal moan :-) Also I took my time getting ready for work, so I was 15 min later than I normally get at work (but I was still early for the work day) I tend to rush things in the morning and it causes 'yucky' feeling all day. So I think I'll just get up earlier and take my time!

Just reporting back that i did work out, even though i really dragged my feet on it. We had a very nice lunch.
