love seared tuna!! If I order it and they ask how I want it cooked I tell them put it on the frying pan then flip it immediately take ot off and serve it. The more rare the better

It’s as safe as sushi. I like a hot pan and no more than 3 minutes per side.

I’ve never had anything but canned tuna. I definitely want to try it freshly cooked, but fear of bacteria 😩.

Most of the risk of bacteria come from processing and handling. Find a place with extremely fresh fish and you should be fine.
