Looks like fun! I'm impressed by your woodpile, did you chop all that wood? I had a fireplace in my other life, sure do miss it on those dreary winter days.

shirfleur thanks it was a very mild winter so we didn't use too much wood. I have a few other piles the same size. I cut them down and process them all myself but I bought a log splitter a few years ago. I do process too much to do it by hand anymore but even with the log splitter it's still a crazy workout. Our wood stove is our primary heat source.

Enjoy your freedom! They took away our right to have wood burning fireplaces in 1994. Now they want to take away natural gas ovens/stoves as well.
