2.6 miles last night, super slow because I twisted my ankle at just about the furthest point away from my house that we go and I had to hobble home. it's better today, but being careful and wearing hiking boots for support. this big storm has brought light rain and winds so far. mostly wind. interesting how so many weather events seem to just skip over this little bit of land near the border while it's like the end of the world a few miles to the north or east of us. go figure. I'm not complaining. saw a bunch of people in the canyon last night from a distance. it was weird, turns out they were looking for a kid who was found safe shortly thereafter, but watching a bunch of flashlights in the distance was a little unsettling. very glad they found him.

blob is down a chunk. water is holding high, along with muscle mass. I'm trying to not walk lopsided and screw something else up on my body because I'm slightly off balance. will be doing a short walk with the beasts tonight if it's not raining. we'll see if I can row if the rain makes me think we're going to be swept away. good to be in practice. I did some maintenance on this computer yesterday, so let's see if I can post a pic from here again without freezing everything up. woot, looks like it worked. welcome to life with giant puppy. everything is a toy and there is no off switch. one of the best thing about them. you have to keep moving.
