question: do you think seedless tastes the same as a traditional watermelon? it's so easy, but it tastes different to me. of course, it could all be in my head as well. this one was left in my fridge as a surprise by my mother so I'm eating it, but it's not as watermelony as it is in my head.

Katsolo, seeded definitely tastes sweeter than seedless but the convenience is why seedless is so popular. I will say that the last seedless watermelon I bought was by far the sweetest I've had in a long time. 🍉💜🍉💜

Old fashioned watermelon definitely tastes different, also a little different texture. I can still get them here, but they're just too big for me. Much of the fruit in the supermarket doesn't taste like what I grew up with: strawberries, peaches, pears, cantaloupe, etc. I'm sure many of you feel the same.

I agree on all counts, Shir. One of this year’s projects is getting serious about my competing and gardening. Watermelons will be on the list and they’ll have seeds.
