Weighing too often drove me nuts, so I weigh every 2 weeks or a month. It only makes sense if you stay on program it will come off! Bodies fluctuate this isnt anything it will come off, good luck Sweetie!

I weigh every morning.. Sometimes it does drive me nuts, but gives me s good in site on what's going on.. But weight going up is a pain in my butt I agree on ignoring the weight... I had coworkers and boss driving me nuts today, because they wanted me to go have Chinese food today. I said no and they acted like I was being a royal pain in the butt.. Litterally said no 3 times. I even explained I am staying away from carbs and they put sugar in everything. A coworker goes well just eat vegetables... Uhm.. OK they have garlic green beans ... Which have carbs so need limited.. Soooo.. I almost gave myself a face palm.

Did you think to take your measurements before you started. It might sound strange but I have noticed women tend to lose inches faster than men, and guys tends to see the pounds first. Also if you are doing any exercise, muscles heavier than fat. Just hang in there. Last thing are you doing your weigh-in at the same time wearing the same thing?

Yes I always weigh first thing in the morning after going potty in labeouf. I didn't take measurements before, but my pants are way looser in the thighs, and in the waist they fit higher and not snug.. They were Uber tight so still wear the same pants in 34. I went from a size 5x back to a 3x(plus size version 3x of 30/32) top. So I am definitely loosing mass.

Muscle is not heavier than fat. I pound of gold is same as 1 pound of feathers. For a woman a lot of possible body weight factors are possible. Water, hormones, period 3 days before and 2 days after, stress. Don't worry for that. Just always continue what you are doing. Eat less and exercise a bit. Don't forget exercise is just 20% of weight loss. First is food. Keep your objective!!!

Yes, if you're doing keto, you must find a way to get enough of what you need or you will not lose.

Yes, good luck! I had to cut out the sodas, snacks, cookies, chips, candy, and replace them with fruit. Also, I try breaking weight up into 5 pound increments. I started at 205, so my goal was 195, 190, then 185. Now, my goal is 180 & hopefully when I get there I'm going for 175, etc. til I reach my ideal weight of 150.

What I eat isn't to very bad.. I also take alive once a day woman's and biotin 10,000. I added 200mg of magnesium citrate last night to my regiment. I got a zipfizz to try that ketoconnect has been touting for potasium. I don't be at avocado.. Mostly because I don't have talent in picking ripe ones

Hey Michelle- You've made fantastic progress since October, so you know your plan works. My guess is that your body has been making a lot of changes and is doing some housecleaning as part of the adjustment. I hope you have an exceptionally good physician watching the Levothyroxine levels in your body; really bad stuff if you don't need it, leading to a variety of problems that could add extra weight and much worse. But if you do need it, thyroid medication can work wonders, especially successful pregnancy wise. Personal experience (my mom and her mom each had goiters).

Tom- I had hairloss.. Started after probably after my metabolism got screwed up when I was in my 20's went through a time where the food I had avalible was mostly weight watchers soy splenda laden food. I had my body go crazy hair started coming out in clumps and had period heavy for a full month. I got out of the situation and was able to eat regularly again and all of it cleared up, but never had my hair grow back as thick as it was or regular periods after that point. Then 8 years ago I had issues again with hair loss and lack of period (not prego) and they did testing and realized my thyroid was low. Then the Dr didn't retest for several years. I changed doctors and she looked over everything and retested me a few years ago and over the last few years she upped my thyroid meds. Now I have lost atleast 60lbs since I was last tested for thyroid. I just do not want to go into the Dr's office to pick up the germs. Actually being on keto has helped with that time of the month atleasst for me... And I am talking to a guy about this *cringes* sorry for the tmi!!

You are trending well. Keep up the good work. Everybody hits bumps in the road. Yours is more like a pebble...

I too have hypothyroidism. I know the struggle all too well. I've had it for 18 years. I take 88mg of levothyroxine. If I'm on too low a dose my hair falls out in clumps, I get depressed, I gain weight, have heavy, irregular periods, my skin is extremely dry, I'm exhausted all the time and constantly thirsty. If my dose is even slightly too high, I get heart palpitations and severe anxiety. I now go every 3 months to get my blood work done. My old doctor only sent me every 6-12 months which was really bad for me. As someone else said, the right dose of levothyroxine is very important. Keto has helped me a great deal also. With energy, weight loss and cravings. I think drinking lots of water and taking supplements, especially magnesium and vitamin D3 are very important. If you are being honest with yourself about exactly what you are eating, the weight and the inches will definitely come off. Not always on the days we think it should, but it will come off....I will also say any alcohol at all throws me out of ketosis. I gain weight immediately. I know not everyone has this experience, but I definitely do.

John.. Well these pebbles tick me off like a rock in my shoe and make me want to get it back on the solid downward trend

Maybe I should check in with my doctor and get my thyroid checked then, because I have had some over the top emotional reactions to things for the last 2 months or so... Hmmmm Not over the top compared to normal people, but for me definitely acting sensitive .. I wouldn't have thought thyroid meds would have anything to do with that.

Don't cringe Michelle; I've been married thirty years and shared a roof thru menopause. Glad to hear the keto has helped you that way!
