Felt a bit wobbly when I got up this morning, but had a pint of water and some salt and feel better now
According to dr fung's fasting guide, day 2 is normally the hardest, so hoping today will be easier.. will be interesting to see how I feel during/after my supermarket shop this morning!

Take some water with you to drink while going round the supermarket. I find day 1 the hardest and it then starts getting easier. I'm 84 hours in now.

Good luck with the supermarket. Taking water sounds like a good move and maybe a small number of nuts as an emergency supply so if you do weaken you have something to hand and don't have to buy something. Have fun!

Wow Poppy - that's amazing! I don't think I could do a supermarket shop when I was hungry - I'd be buying all sorts of things I shouldn't! Have you ever thought of getting your shopping delivered? It saves so much temptation. You end up buying more or less the same things every week and you don't "see" all the goodies, if you know what I mean. Ocado does free delivery on Wednesdays and if you search around, you can get free or cheap slots with the others. I "buy" an annual delivery pass from Tesco with my Tesco Clubcard points - so I always have the choice of shopping with them for a change. It comes in handy at Christmas too.

Thanks all. Mini and phooka I'm just back from Tesco.. I always have water with me and almonds in the glove box.. great minds think alike.
Almonds have saved me at the McDonald's drive thru many times, but last nite I survived bringing home Maccy Ds on only a cuppa tea. Phew!
Mini.. how long are u aiming to fast for?
Doobs.. normally the OH dies my food shopping, but he missed some things off the list to get back for the Spurs game on Saturday lunchtime🤗..and I needed fresh bread and cat food and cream for my teas lol

I'm going through until lunch tomorrow (Friday) - unless I feel bad or anything. I'm off to the doctor's later, then the butcher's - he's got lamb's hearts in, so I'll see how I feel after that.

Doobrie.. in more ways than one.. OH has done the shopping since he stopped working for Ocado, which gave me free delivery and 20% off🤣🤣🤣
Also, he doesn't shop the reduced isles, but I've just picked up a chicken, spuds, carrots and broccoli fir a fiver fir roast dinner tonite😉
Mini.. hope the doctors goes ok, are they supportive of your fasting?
