So, I was doing well
Fasted during my work day
Avoided
" truly irresistible " salted caramel cake
Carrot cake ( again!)
Jamaica ginger cake
Soreen fruit loaf
3 sorts of biscuits
Doritos and kettle chips
Was really happy going to bed at 20gnet carbs

Then there was a problem with the trains
I had to drive to collect my daughter and her friend from the tube instead
Bought a 7up free while I was waiting ( normally avoid sweeteners as they make me hungry)
On the midnight drive home I ate a hotel chocolat choc.. it was GORGEOUS, but I was so disappointed with myself this morning and I have woken up starving hungry.
I was tempted to put the choc on today's food diary, but I suppose that's called " creative carbs counting" 😉😉😱. And I'd only be cheating myself, my body would still know!

On the plus side, I slept for 7 hrs straight until just before my alarm.. my normal tidying up will have to wait til after work so I'm not late

Nice drop, Poppy! I don't know how your workmates can eat all those goodies. They must be very unhealthy. Not good since you work in a hospital!

Good gracious, woman, where do you work. lol. I just gained a lb reading all that (truly yum!) Your self-control is a real model for me as I have none so thanks. Very proud and congrats you are succeeding so well!!!

Thanks all. Erin I work in a hospital. Many different teams share a kitchen. Our office has a lot of colleagues who are very good at baking. And lots of sweets/cakes given to staff by grateful patients and their families. And lots of people who like to share.. not only food, but their time, energy, expertise and we support each other we sometimes see very stressful and sad situations. So I suppose most people don't eat loads, but graze on sugar and carbs snacks throughout the day. I've learnt if I have a nibble, then I'm hungry all day and bound to overeat. So I've fasted at work fir several months ..now I just need to work on mindless eating st home 😉🤔🤔
