Another stand-off with the idiot box this morning. No worries, I will be the victor in due time! I am staying with my WOE and know that my body will respond eventually. I've been consumed with paperwork this morning, didn't realize so many things had piled up on the desk. I enjoy reconciling the checkbook and other clerical jobs. Kind of like doing puzzles. I know...I'm weird! Most people hate that kind of stuff.

My husband and I had a shop for 15 years - we closed it on December 3rd. I've enjoyed doing the bookkeeping for it so I know what you mean - like doing puzzles and they had to be accurate 🙂

I think of it as being Nancy Drew, and always get a little thrill when I finally get a ledger corrected. You hang in there, as the victory is ours every day we get out of bed.

When I first got married, it took me a week to straighten out the hub's checkbook! He was lousy at numbers. :/ Should have been a clue to our ultimate incompatibility. LOL! Now that I have online banking, I don't even bother keeping a register. Duplicate checks, and daily checking of the online tally keep me straight. Hang in there with the weight...your body is still adjusting to the major changes!
