Sigh, another day with a huge weight gain. WTF? It's so easy to get frustrated, but I try not to be. I just hate, hate, hate to see the numbers climb. I am getting pretty far away from my lowest weigh-in, which was 91.4 kgs. Today I am 96. I talked to Wife about it - she didn't lose weight this week either. We are both feeling that there is a difference, so things ARE happening, just not the "important number".
I think we have not been good enough on eating vegetables, but have been lazy and leaned more towards processed foods, restaurants and when eating at home it has been mashed potatoes or rice for many of the meals.
We agreed to refocus this week and start eating our veggies! :)
Also, I have a feeling that I need to do a little bit better on my water. I will re-install my water calculator on my phone and be more focused on it.
Hopefully soon there will be a change in the numbers.
I had a mission to lose a total of 65 kgs, down to under 90 before October 4th - my one year weight loss anniversary. It's now no longer very likely that I will meet this goal, sadly. Not that I haven't accomplished anything - I am already 15 kgs ahead of plan. I just really wanted to kick in those last 5 kgs, and I was so close too, before things got screwed up.

Also, I want to say thank you to everyone who keeps writing to me, messaging me, and commenting on my journal with little, positive acknowledgments. It means a lot, guys! Thanks!

On a much more positive note - if everything goes as planned, my "one year of weight loss"-reward, my new bass guitar, will be in the mail today. I hope Wife is home from work early enough to be here to receive it, so we won't have to go to the post office for it. It's heavy to bring home, and we've got no car! Let's see. Keep your fingers crossed! :)

Now, I know that I sometimes end up sounding whiny when I write my journal. I'm really not that whiny about all this. I greatly appreciate my progress, but it annoys the hell outta me when things don't so as well as they normally do. I know, it's a phase, and things will start moving again. Still, it doesn't make it any easier, does it? :)

Fender....come to 'Daddy'!! Huge congratulations on you forthcoming anniversary...don't underestimate that success!! You so deserve your reward!! Is it worth having a look back on what you were eating/doing on the weeks that you had good losses and try repeating them? Have a great week XX

Oh yeah, come to Daddy! I am so ready to be rumbling the apartment tonight. I feel so sorry for my neighbors, but they'll just have to endure it. It's gonna be LOUD! :) I will definitely follow your idea and go through past diet diaries and re-evaluate. :) I do think I know where the errors lie, though.
