I’m not a big drinker, but during this week’s crisis I have been drinking wine, snacking, and using running after the baby as my only exercise. 🥺 I’m worn out at the moment and not getting enough sleep. I’m crabby and stressed out. Now, that I’m done venting, I will share the latest update: We are all safe. Our son in law has been love bombing my daughter. Two of her close friends have abandoned her and she is in freeze mode. The police are still knee deep in paperwork, but told us they will have a new charge against him for violating the RO by next week. It’s an emotional rollercoaster everyday honestly. I’m on my knees praying and have had so much love and support from my FS family, my church, neighbors, and friends. I am blessed beyond measure to have all of your prayers. Thank you for standing by my side. Sending a hundred hugs to each of you !!! 🤗🥰

Hang in there. Surviver of DV/stalking here... I hope your daughter knows that love-bombing is a part of the cycle / "circle of domesti violence". I know it's easier said than done, but maybe try to remember that your health is particularly important right now for your stamina. Also, this is not a criticism about drinking, but just a tip that it's best not to have wine on your breath or open bottles lying around when police are called. (If her husband gets a shark defense attorney your credibility will be challenged from every angle. ) Your daughter is fortunate to have such a supportive family.

Thank you for your support. As per my drinking wine, my usual consumption is very minimal. I may have a glass of wine once or twice a month. So for me to drink one glass 3 times a week is personally too much and unhealthy for me. The detectives came to our home to support our daughter and gather evidence of her abuse. Have a good weekend everyone. 🩷🙏🏼
