Thanksgiving gain gone, plus a little. Now it's time to tuck the scale back away for a bit. Upper body strength training & Zumba this evening! Have a Marvelous Monday, all! 🤗

Zen, dunno if you noticed, but I joined Hevy and followed you, I'm just doing my bands workout at the moment, but when the gym opens, I may go heavy 🤣🤣🤣 on the lifting, not my weight!!!!

Also, I joined the challenge, I'm going to take my band workout to 3 sets each which is about 45 minutes and doing them on Monday, Wednesday and Friday..that ought to keep me in your good graces LOL

So I was in the middle of my workout, and I lost track of where I was because I had to stop and let one of the dogs out to go pee. So I said WTH, try it maybe you will be able to see your progress AND keep track of where you are when you have to stop for some reason. So I did it, and I paid for pro for a year, so now I'm committed

@Deb, no need to be scared...lol. There are some great looking people there, huh?? Guess what... They didn't look that way in the beginning. Everyone has a starting point. Sounds like a great plan you have there. 🫡 Just make sure there is an ugly face or a grunt on that last rep. 🤣 You paid for pro?? Well, you may just be even more committed than me! 😆

Well, when I created my Mobility routine this morning, I did three sets for most of them...two of them I could only do two sets of. It was not just an ugly face or a grunt...doing my down dogs, I just collapsed face down on the floor after the 2nd set...done and done!!!

🤣 That's awesome, Deb! That's when you know you really got it in! No shame in that! I got in about 1.5 hours of legs last night. I had planned on 1 more exercise, but I was done & done...lol. Plus, I could tell my new buddy was exhausted as well. Didn't want to run her away...lol.

Boy, but I'm feeling it this evening, I got ouchies everywhere. I had no pain while doing those, but now that I'm still, I'm feeling tender her and there...and there. I got some mobility strengthening exercises from a couple of videos, Thekneesovertoesguy, Redefining strength, and Precision Movement and tossed in my favorite yoga move, the Downward Dog. Most of the stretching was pretty intense, but I had NEVER done 20 reps of those and my arms were shaking so bad, I could only do one set of the inclined pushups. So the rest of it was hips, legs, glutes, calves and ankles, I had no issues with those. So I recall what you were saying about your legs being strong just from carrying your weight. I did a 90/90 stretch that I did not add....because I could not find it. That got my hips to talking to me...I did not move, I just assumed the position and held it for 30 seconds then switched sides, did that 5 times WOW, my hip flexors need as much serious work as my upper body does!! But I did see where I needed work and where I need to increase my reps.

Great job, @deb!👏 Ouchies are, unfortunately, a necessary evil...lol. It gets better in time. The shaking lets you know you really got it in! 😉 Lots of times, that's how my last reps go, except for particular exercises that I'm scared to go that far on because injury could occur, like Barbell chest presses without a spotter. You should see me getting into the car some days after a good leg day. Sometimes, I have to pick that last leg up and pack it into the car. 🤣 Then, I look down at the speedometer on the way home & am driving like Ms. Daisy. 😂 Sometimes, after a good arm day, I have trouble keeping the car in the lane. I'm probably gonna get pulled 🚔 one day for suspected DWI. 😅

LOL Zen, I have one leg that I have to pick up and pack in the car every day, I simply can't lift it....well used to not be able to, it's actually getting better since I increased the protein, still not very flexable but I'm working on that too.
