Good morning, FS WARRIORS!!! 💜✨️ I continued to refeed like a Beast 🦁 yesterday. I ate 3 meals, almost 100 g of protein, almost 149 g of fat, & less than 4 g of carbs. I ate until complete satiety at all 3 meals. I will probably do 2 meals today or whenever my body wants since it seems that my leptin is back under control. I hope you ALL have a fantabulous day! 😁💜

eating like a beast and still dropping! good going! After watching some of those Pelz videos about post menopausal women, I may take my protein up a few notches and trim my carbs back a bit and see how I feel. I'm up for some tweaking, I was only planning to do the 2200 RDI and the 15% carbs for a month anyway to get my metabolism out of the toilet, that seems to have done the trick. I am still thinking about that dish of chicken livers n onions I saw on here and I have not yet tried it. I'll shop Saturday and get some fresh ones and have that as one of my meals on Sunday. I love chicken liver and the mental picture of that dish is haunting me 😊

Debra... I ate almost 1800 calories yesterday, I have NEVER been able to eat that much & lose! When I was just eating Keto with LC veggies for that week, my calories were no more than 1200 and down as low as 800 and I was GAINING. ...and remember when I told y'all that I was hungry shortly after I ate (not ravishing carb hunger, but hunger), ang thought it was too much protein?? Apparently, it was the LC veggies! My net carbs then were only 10-20g. Who'd a thunk it?!?! I almost posted a pic of my meal yesterday, but thought about you ladies & decided not to. Have you ever had Waguy beef? I found some USA that is ALOT cheaper then what I was looking at online, but it's still pricey. Definitely a treat!!!

Thanks, Saran! The best possible advise I could give you to make sure you understand EVERYTHING, plus get meal ideas is to go to dietdoctor.com There is a monthly fee, but you get like a 7 day free trial. If you don't want to pay for it, sign up at a good time when you have plenty of time to go through mostly everything in those 7 days. The only fruit that is allowed if you go all the way keto is a few berries. Boiled eggs or beef jerky is a better snack option. There are many recipes online. You can Google for example "low carb version of Mac and cheese" (etc...) and it will give you a recipe.

@Saran... I have recently stepped up my game. I am doing as close to the carnivore diet as I can get, which is any animal product except milk & honey.

Yeah, I'm not paying that price for japanese beef :). I have wild caught venison, home grown grass fed beef and home fed and wild caught hog in my freezer. I have a grass fed calf in the pasture growing to be the next deposit in my freezer. The wild caught stuff, I don't know exactly what they have been eating because of the extensive agriculture we have around us, but I know what my farm raised meat has been eating.

Sara, Zen is right, taking a look at DietDoctor.com is the best way to understand exactly what to eat and what not to eat. For over ten years DietDoctor was free and I learned a massive amount about food from it. Sad that they charge a membership now, but hey, you gotta pay the bills right? My very first introduction to low carb-high fat was a video, long time ago, hell I don't even know if it is still on you tube. Guy named Bob, title "Butter made my pants fall off" that got me hunting for more info and I landed at DietDoctor.com

From DietDoctor I got turned onto Jason Fung, his website and blog were also free back then, that was a few years before his book, after the book he started charging too.

Deb... Guard that freezer with you life!!! 🤣 The Wagyu I got isn't Japanese though. It was raised in the USA. It is still $8.99 a pound, but not like those Japanese prices.

LOL! We pay out a little at a time over the two years we raise a calf, planting winter grass, buying hay in the winter, then taking them to the processing plant, our first one was processed at about 1.00 per pound undressed, so we had to cough up 1,200.00 bucks for the processing. We got about 800 lbs of meat so we paid about 1.50 a pound, probably if you factor in all the hay and planting of grass, I'd guess we paid 3.50 a pound for our home grown beef. I have no idea what this new guy is gonna cost us though, things have gone up quite a bit, even deer processing this past year went up from about 45.00 per deer to over 100.00 per deer.

@Morticia... Thanks! You too! 🙂

@Deb... Not bad at all if you have that much money to cough up all at once! Wow! That's a big increase for deer processing!

We saved for it Zen, knew it would be a big price tag, had him for two years, threw extra $$ here and there into the T-Bone savings account, had about 1500.00 bucks in it when it came time to do that last mile. His name was T-Bone, little guy we have now is Porter-House. We name them, but the name reminds us that they are food. Picked him up as a bottle feeder when he was ten days old, paid 50.00 bucks for him.

Nice money management, Deb! Good idea with the naming too. I have chickens (they have names like blossom, etc..) & have yet to be able to eat one...lol.

@Saran... also, if you can find Loopie97 July 12 post, I put lots of tips under there. Good luck to you! 💜

@ Saran. Also if you go to YouTube and search keto/carnivore, you can find zillions of videos. Maybe also add beginner to get the starter versions.
