Checking in before I make dinner. Football on the TV & I've read a few chapters of our Book Club selection ▪︎ The Thursday Murder Club. I've been getting sleepy trying to read it before bed this week.

Average week...We made it to the Gym Mon., Wed. & Friday. Doing my usual Treadmill, exercises, weight machines & bike. I did a combo of both upper & lower body on the weight machines this week. I also discovered some of the exercises I do beforehand to get stretched are called Pilates 😊 Not sure why I didn't know that, but reading discussion here on FS, I googled it & now I have a name for what I'm doing.

My Sis came up on Saturday & we went into town. We had lunch at a local Pizza/ Italian restaurant. We shared a salad with some goodies on it....cherry tomatoes, garbanzo beans, cranberries & feta...& a veggie Stromboli. I would have had the meatball Stromboli but since we decided to share... it's a generous portion for even the "half".... & she wanted the veggie, that's what I went with. It probably saved me some calories. We walked around the square & popped into several of the shops. I bought a bottle of Cinnamon Pear Balsamic to put on ice cream & cook with. I tried to get Hubby to try it on his ice cream last night but he wasn't going for it!

When I got home, I brought several of the outdoor plants inside. It was forcast to get down to freezing last night. The temperature is supposed to be cooler...getting into the 20's next week. 🥶 A few made it into the house & a few are in the garage. The big Mandevilla lived in the garage last winter & it bloomed nicely this Summer. I took down the hummingbird feeders, washed them & they're now stored for the Winter.

I discovered the Library had Season 6 of Outlander on DVD when I went in to pick up a couple of books. Yay!! We've been watching a couple of episodes each night after dinner.

My daughter & Granddaughter bought their tickets to come for a week long visit in December this week. They'll be bringing our Great-granddaughter 😁❤ She just had her first birthday last week. They'll be here for our Family (Brother, Sisters,Neices, etc.) Christmas Party on the 11th & stay through a Christmas Cookie baking party @ one of my Niece's place the following weekend. They were lucky to be able to use points to pay for their flight here & get a good fare for the flight home.

I bought a cabbage at the grocery store this week. Planning on making cabbage steaks & a Pork Chop in the oven for dinner.
