I forgot how steep of a deficit I need to start losing weight lol. I tried doing 100-200 calories less than my caloric burn and it had no effect.

The activity log is pretty accurate for me when I'm lifting regularly, but the gym keeps closing just as I get psyched to go, so I've only been working out once a week 😟

I'm just biding my time until next week when things (work schedule, gym closures, and icy weather conditions) return to normal hopefully 🤞

With diet and exercise, consistency is the key to progress and I've been slacking. I'm not getting lazy - just frustrated with factors that are all working against me, but I know they're all temporary, so no biggie.

Oh! And I am officially out of the "skinny dude club"! Like when Superman gave up his powers to become a regular human, I have now experienced what it is like to need to suck in my gut hard just to button my pants now for a couple days. I GET IT!!
