Worked yesterday after all for it rained here, so the boys called off their day of fishing.😟

The next two weekends they are fishing for sure, one is practice, one is a tournament they have signed up for. A fresh water tournament, my husband has never fished that before. Fish are considered gullible for they have a habit of falling for hooks, lines, and sinkers.🙃
Will do my chores I had planned to do yesterday today, after coffee!☕️☕️☕️☕️ New word: Procaffeinating (n). - the tendency to not start anything until you’ve had your coffee. 😁

We used to put on a fishing tournament out of Grand Chenier, Louisiana every 4th of July; such fun and good memories. Won 3rd place marlin one year, quite exciting! 🐟🐟🐟

He fishes usually the ocean off San Diego, or Long Beach, but this time it’s Lake Castaic. They are slowly emptying the lake for dam repair and he is shocked each time he goes there.😮
