Good evening. I finally had a chance to look at your photos from Xian. Thank you for sharing. As I mentioned before, I know a little about what makes good photography because of my former relationship. I think you are very good at capturing actions (eg., girls pushing the giant drum). Your action photos tell a lot of stories and drive the viewers imagination, I can hear their voice, feel the temperature, see the energy shooting toward different directions, and to me, that’s good photography. Sorry if I sound presumptuous. You shared something very precious and I don’t want to make generic remarks like “awesome.” Thank you for transporting me to a different space, I needed that desperately tonight.

I thought you were more jazzy? 🙂 I was there for work, training some younglings. They were happy to show me around, thankfully since I do not speak Mandarin. You can see them on one photo at the terracotta warriors site.
