Dropped the ball yesterday... no time for lunch 😳. My dad bought 6 new batteries for their boat and yesterday I had to remove the old ones and install the new ones.
62# each, 95° afternoon, bent over in a tight engine compartment, standing in diesel water up to my ankles... not a happy camper, but he slipped me a hundo after my efforts and told me to to buy some new shoes 🤔.
So, 4 hours of work, 5 gallons of sweat, and I wind up back at square one?! Lol. It was a great feeling doing it for him and wasn't expecting any tip, but it made me realize the value of time vs money.
Got me thinking: I need to hire the neighbors kids for more of my stuff now.
