Okay, today I weighed in at an ALL TIME LOW! Finally. Day four of hitting it HARD. I had some great support from lots of you last week when I got so frustrated and I just want to say that I didn't stray. I stuck with it.
I was taking in about 400 calories per day too many and too much salt, but I didn't go nuts and give up like I used to when frustrated, so that's a huge bit of progress.
Since I have a Jacuzzi, I discovered that a great remedy to too much salt is a good 20 minute soak in the Jacuzzi until I'm sweating out my eyeballs. Sweat has lots of salt in it and it's a great way to get rid of extra salt without taking a pill (I'm not a weight where I can exercise to the point of sweating yet). Of course, I'm guzzling water non-stop while I'm in there and eating a banana a day to make sure I've got the potassium levels up.
