Still on vacation!

Not worried about the weight gain. I ate one meal, really low carb, just meat and cheese. I worked out hard two days ago and I think this is just water retention from inflammation.

I worked out really hard again today. I was able to 'lift heavy' on only sugar flavored coffee. This tells me I still have plenty of 'water retaining glycogen' in my muscles.

I plan to still do low carb today. However, by Wednesday I will probably allow myself to 'let go' and eat whatever I want (carbs!) until we go home on Saturday.

I had an unreal gain at my vacation in August last year. Fortunately it came off fairly quick. If a vacation is a break from normal routine, then do it as it suppose to be done. Be abnormal. 😜 The daily routine is waiting for you back at home. Hearing you enjoy vacation right now, makes me want one too. Might be a good way of celebrating a goal-reached somewhere in near future.

@Crashtestdawnie - my weight is all over the place and I haven't let go yet. I plan to go crazy from Wednesday to Saturday. This could get ugly haha. I am killing it in the gym. May actually build some muscle. When I get back I plan to do 4 straight weeks of cardio to drop this 25+ pounds...

Low carbs for one or two days will not help you at all, your body needs time to switch between energy sources, but if you fasting one day before then maybe something will happen, but cheese is the reason low crab won't work cause of the fat in cheese will absorb faster.

You think it will take 4 weeks to undue the damage 😱Yeah I guess that seems about right. Your body seems to be especially stubborn with losing water weight. It’s a good thing you love to run! Are you eating a lot of regional dishes?
